Waymar Resources Ltd. ("Waymar") is a Canadian mineral exploration company with an option to acquire 100% interest in the Anzá project located in the west of the Antioquia Department in the Republic of Colombia. Waymar also has 100% ownership of mineral properties surrounding Anzá to cover district potential. The consolidated Anzá project area covers approximately 23,100 hectares situated in the prolific Mid-Cauca gold belt, approximately 50 km west of the city of Medellín.

At the Anzá project, the Company has made a brand new discovery, perhaps of a new type of high-grade gold deposit (plus silver, zinc and copper). To date, 17,400 m of core drilling show a structurally controlled deposit up to 200 meters wide and at least 2.5 km long, with several high-grade gold zones and widespread low-grade mineralization of the wall-rocks. The best intercepts to date are 15 m of 40 g/t gold and 41 m of 14 g/t gold.  The deposit is still open on strike and down-dip. Systematic exploration of the land package, including geochemical and geophysical surveys, has identified numerous highly prospective targets that are being prepared for drilling.

Colombia has a prominent mining and exploration industry. As a significant South American producer of gold, nickel, emeralds, petroleum and natural gas, it is also a leading producer of coal in Latin America. It is the fourth ranked gold producer in Latin America after Perú, Brazil and Chile.
